Seth Tarver had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists and scored the go-ahead layup with 23.9 seconds left as the Idaho Stampede (6-14) beat the Springfield Armor 90-86 on the final day of the NBA Development League Showcase. The Stampede have won four out of their last five games. Jermareo Davidson, making his first start this season as a Stampeder, scored a game-high 22 points and added eight rebounds and a key blocked shot with the score tied and 1 minute, 45 seconds left. Cedric Jackson continued his all-around great play with 11 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Idaho shot 47.1 percent from the floor and led by as many as 14 points before allowing the Armor back in the game with a cold (33.3 percent FG, 5-of-15 shooting) and sloppy (eight turnovers, which led to 13 Springfield points) third quarter. Carlos Wheeler added 17 points (7-8 FG) and Lance Hurdle tacked on 14 points, four rebounds and three assists to lead the way for the Stampede bench. The Armor (6-15) had five players score in double-figures with Chas McFarland leading the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Luke Jackson has been waived due to a leg injury he suffered during Tuesday's game against Erie. The Stampede turn right around and play the Utah Flash tomorrow in Orem (7 p.m.) before traveling to Dakota for a Sunday-Monday set.
