Forward Ivan Johnson scored a franchise-record 46 points to lead the Erie BayHawks to a 123-109 victory over the Maine Red Claws on Friday night. A crowd of 3,045 at the Portland Expo Building saw Johnson score 30 points in the first half, and his layup at the end of the game gave him the NBA D-League high this season. Johnson surpassed the BayHawks' record of 38 set by guard Blake Ahearn last season. Johnson made 17-of-22 field-goal attempts and 12-of-13 at the line while also grabbing nine rebounds.
