hate to say this but i agree, Przy looks just awful and I know the reasons, but damn he looks worse than I ever expected, and Miller does seem like he's got one foot out the door
If Andre Miller gets 18/8/5 while having mentally checked out and not trying, he must be the most talented point guard in the league.
I doubt The Choad has any cohesive plan at all, other than "make team better, win Title". He certainly said nothing to give me the impression he even knows who our players are. Bottom line, he's got to say he has done something in his head at least, since he's done nothing in reality.
If he can do that without trying, he's far from average. But I was going by the last game, as I figured the angry people were going by recent results.
I think it would be stupid to tell the coaching staff his goals until it actually looks possible to achieve. Then he can confer with nate. Anything else would put Nate in a bad situation with his players. He would lose their trust.
Cool story, Cho.Nailed it. I agree. Maybe not the coolest post ever, but it nails the point. Cho has a plan. I think what that means is he has a vision of the kind of players he wants for this team. Okay, great. Doesn't mean he has a plan to get those players, unless he can get a find a team willing to be swindled. I guess he figured it was long past due for a resolute statement from the boss of the team. And this is it.
Adding things up, it looks like Cho is formulating a plan, and he plans to build around Nicolas Batum? I'm a Batum fan, and he's an above-average defender, decent scoring option, and a young player on a very cheap contract, but not untradeable. I think the bigger question is whether Cho will trade Aldridge. LA reminds me a little of Cliff Robinson from the mid '90s - not his game, so much, but his overall ability level. Like Cliffy, Aldridge is a border-line all-star, and the best player on the team, but that's not good enough to get the team out of the first round. So what do you do with him?
