    I don't want him on my team. You can waive him as far as I'm concerned.

    I have to admit, he does seem to be a bit disinterested. But maybe that's just his style.

    How does one make the sound of something whizzing over someone's head on a message board?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
    I want him on your team. I enjoy watching and rooting for your team and want what's best for your team.

    If we're going to leave your team without a good point guard, I'd prefer to trade him and get value back.

    19pts/8ast/5rbs/2stls in 33 minutes. 7/15 from the field, 1/1 from the arc last night.

    13pts/7ast/3rbs per game on the season.

    Miller has a 19 PER....#9 in the league for PG's.

    Thank GOD you are not the GM. Waiving Dre would be monumentally foolish.

    Go Blazers

    Dre is a good point guard, but he's not a consistent outside shooter. We need a PG that has a reliable outside shot and can regularly hit the threee. Unfortunately, those are hard to find.

    So, you'd prefer Patty Mills as our starting PG.

    Let's see, tonight:

    Andre Miller:
    35 MIN
    8/14 FG = 0.571 FG%
    19 PT
    8 AST
    2 REB
    1 STL
    2 TOV
    +/- = +12
    EFF = 21

    Patty Mills:
    13 MIN
    2/7 FG = 0.286 FG%
    9 PT
    0 AST
    0 REB
    0 STL
    1 TOV
    +/- = -5
    EFF = 3

    Patty Mills isn't a PG. He's a subminiature SG. It cracks me up that posters on this forum say Miller calls his own number too much. 14 FGA and 8 AST in 35 minutes vs. 7 FGA and 0 AST in 13 minutes. The ONLY number Patty calls is his own. And, for anyone bitching about Millers defense, watch Patty sometime. He can't guard ANYBODY. I've never seen anyone get so abused on the high pick and roll. He's not smart enough to slip the pick and too tiny to fight through it. When Patty's on the court we're playing 1 on 5 on offense and 4 on 5 on defense.

    I still don't get the Miller hate, but without him this team would flat out suck. Our only PG would be a rookie second rounder who can't get off the bench. Other than that, we'd have a tiny SG running our offense and chucking up shots at an alarming rate.

    Get real. Andre Miller has the second highers PER on the team - and he plays a position where we currently have no viable alternative. Waive him? Yeah, right.

    Oh and for all those on the Devin Harris welcome wagon, who get the better of the Miller v. Harris match-up tonight?

    Andre Miller:
    35 MIN
    8/14 FG = 0.571 FG%
    19 PT
    8 AST
    2 REB
    1 STL
    2 TOV
    +/- = +12
    EFF = 21

    Devin Harris:
    35 MIN
    3/10 FG = 0.300 FG%
    8 PT
    6 AST
    0 REB
    2 STL
    2 TOV
    +/- = -8
    EFF = 7

    So much for Harris' great defense, He can't even stop an old, slow, unathletic guy like Andre Miller. Maybe New Jersey should waive Devin Harris.

    I wouldn't advocate Patty Mills or Devin Harris over Andre, but the fact of the matter is that Andre isn't going to lead us to playoff success either.
