I am losing my mind? I dunno, but Radmonovic was money tonight, and provided a huge boost with two clutch threes in the final 4 minutes to give GS the win... and he played good D on Blake Griffin, somehow... and he had some terrific passes...

wtf is going on here, I don't know... maybe he's had a mental breakthrough... but right now, he looks like a good bench player.

Maybe GS should keep him, let him expire, and then bring him back for $3 mils...?

LOL, I thought the same thing. We'll see...it's still early. I think he plays well when he's a 3. Even though his biggest shots were at the end of the game when Beans fouled out, earlier (when he was the 3) he seemed more aggressive to the hole and on rebounds. He had 6 of them as opposed to 1 vs Lakers.

I just thought to myself this morning, "maybe he's motivated by his contract year." I hate to think that way, but it has to be some extra motivation for any player. He's only 30, so he definitely has one nice contract left.

Either way, his resurgence is great for GS. Either he becomes a valuable "double-dip" trade chip (expiring and helpful for a PO run), or we get cap relief and the option of bring him back cheaper (or not at all).

This was the first player I wanted out of here after Mags. Now, damn, at the back-up SF, he's friggin great. Playing a lot tougher, more assertive, playmaker, rebounder, and he's shooting 43% from three on the year! To have that size and ability at SF really changes things. Now at the PF I"m not so sure, but for a while he was on Griffin last night and did a pretty darn good job...

Sit on the john for a few minutes and the feeling will pass.

Seriously, I thought the same thing after watching the Warriors highlights. I think the announcer said Vlad has been on a tear since he hit that shot against the Kings to send it to OT.

There are several playoff bound teams like Dallas, Boston (may bring back Sheed), Chicago, etc that want a big man who can shoot. Or Detroit with Austin Daye or Greg Monroe. Or Cleveland with JJ Hickson. I'd use Vlade as trade bait. His trade value has not been this high in years!

It's nice to see this team get bench production from Reggie Williams and Radmanovic. Dorell and Monta finally got some rest. I did not watch most of the game but perhaps the foul trouble Monta was in opened the door for Williams to step up. These guys can score and that needs to be their role for this team off the bench. The problem they have had recently were turnovers. They had been turnover machines. Its nice to see them put those turnover problems aside with only 3 total between the two and finally get in their groove for at least one game. Radmanovic definitely needs to be the backup 3, especially to give Dorell more rest as the season goes on. Dorell has been an iron horse and I think Reggie Williams is a little too small to be the 3, and I really don't see anyone else fitting the backup 3 spot. Though I noticed Smart seems to like Brandan at the 3. go figure...

I think Vlad's rebounding is better from the 3 as well because he can get decent position he just can easily get overpowered and may be a tad less agressive to the ball than what you'd want from the 4. Vlad can be a productive player like he was with the Sonics. I'm not sure if he can be consistent though. And for the hundredth time, keep him at the 3 more than the 4.

Maybe on a one year minimum contract under the assumption that hes our 9th/10th/11th/12th man unless he plays his way into the rotation.

I'd rather have Vlad out there right now than Dorell sometimes (yes I know Dorell is on a tear); you watch some of the lazy errors by Wright and you think its ridiculous. At least with Vlad he's hustling and trying and rotating over at the proper time.

FWIW Vlad is in fact stringing together good efforts. The errors are very few now and hes playing off the ball almost completely. Not bad, still don't want to waste anything more than a minimum contract on him though but yeah sometimes DW can drive you nuts with those weak ass finishes. Had a couple awful TOs today too where someone just took it from him.

Yeah, just way too careless and nonchalant... he tries to be smoove with everything, sometimes it looks impressive, and other times it looks Dunleavy...
