DC is a scrub...wish we could get Carl Landry. The only thing DC brings is a mid range jumper and even that hasn't been as good as of late!

Interesting about Babbit, there was a thread withing the last week where it was "quoted or mentioned" that Babbit was a beast in practice, had the nickname "Jermaine", but obviously hasn't been able to show it or sniff the court in games. If that's the case I doubt DC was kinnin him in practice - what to believe?

How does Johnson do in practices? I think he has the best chance of the 2010-picks to become a legitimate NBA rotational player.

It doesn't supprise me that Babbitt looks like crap. I never saw anything (in the few Nevada games I watched of his) that would indicate to me that he could play in the NBA.

Back on topic - Unfortunately I share both of your opinions. Cunningham is terrible... but he is the best option that Nate has available, and he works/tries really hard.

Trading Martell to move up in the draft to get Babbitt was TURRRIBLE. Easily the worst move by the Blazers in the last 5 years. At least, it was until Cho passed up chances to pick up serviceable bench riding big men for Sean Freaking Marks. Oy, vay.

The Bayless trade...I rationalized the best I could. The jury is still out for me. I guess it depends on what we get out of the pick.

Cunningham isn't very good. Where was he drafted again? He works hard, has the most consistent mid-range jumper on the team, plays out of position, and is the best option we have at the moment. Don't blame Dante for our injury problems that force the team to play him, and for the Blazers managements inability to improve the roster.

Cunningham has a .381% EFG on jumpers. The only player with a worse EFG% on jumpers on our team is Marcus Camby. Most consistent midrange jumper my ass.

He's not playing out of position, he's simply too slow to handle small forwards, hell, he's slow even for power forwards, and gets fouls because he can't move his feet fast enough.

I don't agree with this part at all. IMO, the only reason he gets beat on defense is cause of his size. When he is switched onto SF's I think he does a pretty good job.

Dante is a great role player. He gets more time than he warrants because he is the only other PF on our team besides Aldridge. Don't pay attention to stats. He hustles and plays smart. He never takes a play off. Cunningham has saved us this season. He's the wrong person to get upset at.

KP whiffed bigtime when he took JP/DC over Blair.

Just one of many scars on his resume.

15 players on a team and 10 guys on your bench. I'll take him. You need some utility players. "Terrible" is hardly a description i would use for DC. He is a tweener, but there are certain match ups he helps with off the bench. Yes I would rather have Blair, especially guarding KLove, but I also would rather have a DC on Beasley than say Blair or Anthony Randolph.

    15 palyers to a team.
