He was always a highly touted player coming from Europe. Many people believe that he is being held back in Detroit due to the depth of our starting five and the lack of need for our bench. I personally think he has a lot of potential, but isn't going to fit in Detroit. I think the Pistons need to trade him, and I think that if they do they would get a good deal for him. He has drawn comparisions to Manu Genobili, and I think that there are teams out there that would make a good deal for him. Do you think we should try to trade him?
I've never liked Carlos Delfino that much. We should have drafted Josh Howard. Delfino is still a good player. I don't mind him on the team, but I don't think he will ever be more than a sixth/seventh man.I wouldn't mind a trade, but I think Dumars sees the potential in him.
I don't like Carlos Delfino. He hasn't shown much on the floor, but we need a body at that SG/SF position. How 'bout we get rid of TONY DELK!
I really think that the knee injury he had in his rookie year really hurt his confidence in playing witht he pistons and his development in the NBA. Delfino could be a good bench player with consistent minutes. He shows signs of being good when he drives to the basket. Unless Dumars can get somone he really likes and thinks can contribute to this team he won't trade him. The coaching staff next year has to get Delfino to drive and dish more instead of shooting a lot of 3's, he can be very effective off the bench.
I never really liked Delfino, but he is a pretty good player coming off the bench. I don't think he will ever be a starter though.
Delfino is exactly what the Pistons need - what are u guys talking about. The pistons are lacking someone who can slash into the paint - although delfino isnt a dwyane wade or Allen Iverson who can both drive in the paint with ease - he is a good start. Our team needs to focus more on getting to the paint instead of shooting jumpers, because when the jumpers don't go in and you can't take it to the hoop - than you lose.
