A great set of articles (the link within the posted article is well worth a read as well). Highlighting the job Nate has done with this team was also nice to read. He doesn't hang his head, and he doesn't let his players do it either.
Maybe you will like this one better. Need to put a blazer uni on him though and scrub out the generator line.
"In light of the latest epidemic, McMillan said the Blazers have re-evaluated all their training methods -- from how they travel to how they rest players" The most relevant sentence in the article, imho.
That caught my eye, too. I assume it means they've reevaluated but haven't made changes, otherwise we would have heard some sort of announcement. Status quo remains quiet, whereas changes are highlighted to appease restless fans.
I wouldn't call this latest one "unthinkable." Camby has always been an injury prone player, and he had been logging heavy minutes this season. This was bound to happen. But when you put all the injuries together holistically, it looks bad. Or "unthinkable."
Fucking Bloody Hell!!!!! I have been bitching about this area of the Blazers for a LONG LONG time - and after most our good talent except LaMarcus is now FUBAR they decide to "reevaluate". To think about the MILLIONS these folks get paid to be RIGHT about ALL of this stuff, and how little clue they actually have is frustrating.
All their doing is paying you lip service, I wouldn't get worked up about it. I'm sure they've re-evaluated it many many times before.
What evidence do you have of that? My opinion is that the coaches, trainers, execs at this level mostly consider themselves to be a top-flight finished product that knows what the hell they are doing. These guys rarely question their knowledge, experience and abilities. It usually takes complete failure at their job, or an outsider to force the issue.
