Is Anthony Randolph worth a protected 1st round pick? Or is it a possible steal like Beasley. Right place right time.
    John Hollinger (2:35 PM)

I'd say so, as long as the protections are very strict. I still think he has the potential to be a Camby-esque defender and rebounder, and he can really handle the ball for his size, but the doubts about his offensive role are what has him riding the pine in New York. It has to be a team that will run and has enough other guys who can shoot that his lack of a J won't be a liability.

You know Bill Bayno could do wonders with this kid. I think it's worth the shot just because of the fact we have Bayno on staff to work with him. Look what he did with Travis Outlaw. He got him to the point where we could actually trade that dude for something, and then we finally got Travis shipped so he could go stink it up somewhere else. If he could do that with Outlaw, a kid like Randolph is a no brainer to me.

Not the biggest fan, but I wouldn't mind having him. We're at the point where we have to try SOMETHING with all of the injuries.

Just like people described the Roy/LMA draft as the worst in 10 years. Good GMs/scouts still find the talent.

Wait, you're not in favor of trading a comb of or all of the Camby/Joel/Andre trio?

Wait aren't you the president of the "let's trade our vets koolaide club"?

    From your thread on rebuilding:

Maybe you changed your mind because the team is 5 games over 500? Or maybe just another of many flipflops.

Bullshit. You mentioned getting Harris, but not specifically by using JP, AM,
    C. Here's the entire paragraph:

    Flip, Flop.

What I don't understand is why you would criticize fans that want to trade the vets, when YOU said the team needs to trade the vets. Further, I don't understand why you would say that you have claimed this next draft sucks, yet I quoted where you said this draft will get us more than JP, AM and MC. Does the draft suck that bad, or are our vets so bad they won't get us anything. If they won't get us anything, why should we trade them, as you say we need to do??

Ok. I think if we can get back quality or upgrade then we have ton trade them. I don't think we should trade them for lousy non picks. I also feel we have to get back same position like pg or center. For example a perfect trade would have been Harris/Harrington for miller/pryz. Assuming the nets made that deal. We get our pg of future and a f/c who can score off bench. That's what I want! Not these lousy deals where we send camby to Atlanta for a 2nd rounder or protected lotto pick in 2013. I think we should use that hornets pick and take a gamble on Randolph.

Then you want to trade the vets, right? Weren't you criticizing fans in this threads that want to trade the vets? Would you please quote where some koolaid drinker wanted to trade the vets for "lousy non picks?"

Once again, you want to trade the vets. Why are you critical of the "let's trade our vets koolaid club", when you want to trade the vets?

Could you quote where someone, anyone, said they want to send Camby for a 2nd rounder?
