Randy Savage left the WWF on bad terms in 1994 and his role in building up the promotion in the 80s has been minimized since. Savage is one of the more glaring absentees from the WWE's Hall of Fame considering most of his contemporaries (Flair, Steamboat, DiBiase, Hogan, Rhodes, Henning, etc.) have been in for years. In fact you'll have difficulty finding an instance of Vince McMahon even saying Savage's name in the last 17 years.

The reason is that Savage supposedly had his way with Vince's daughter Stephanie just prior to his departure. Stephanie was between 16-18 years old at the time of the alleged (consensual) incident (Savage was in his 40s). Savage and Vince McMahon's relationship was broken at that moment and has never been close to fixed--until now?

Savage is currently promoting the new WWE video game All Stars. Its the first time WWE fans have seen anything with Savage in years. Could he be yet another WWE legend who could be brought back into the fold for promotional purposes?

We'll Vince did forgive Bret who punched and spat in his face.

But on the other hand what Savage "allegedly" did in my opinion is worse such as messing with a 16 year old girl.

Overall i'd have to lean more towards it being strickly business

Despite what he may have done, if the hall of fame is based on what he brought to the ring night in and night out, Randy deserves to to be in the hall of fame, can you dig it? Oooohhhhhhh YYYYYYYAAAAAAA!

You make a good point TrueBlue.

Lets just hope vince isn't so pety that he doesn't induct Savage into the Hall of fame because of some personal matters.

He deserves to be in it.

More to the point: the video game looks promising. I kind of got put off WWE games after Raw for the original Xbox. They haven't really done much with them since. I liked Smackdown: Know Your Role and the like for the PS2 back in the day. Since then I've tried several of the new games and haven't been able to enjoy them.

However for a legends-type game they already have several guys I've never heard of or am just slightly familiar with in the roster for the game (Morrison, Kingston, Shamus, etc.).
