Arsenal will push through a £10m deal this week with the 17-year-old forward likely to rejoin Southampton on loan until the end of the season. Oxlade-Chamberlain has been targeted by Manchester City, Newcastle and Liverpool but the England under-18 starlet has decided to join Arsenal. "I think, if that is right, that is a very good decision," said Wenger. "We will try now. "We need an agreement with Southampton, we need an agreement with the player, and we are not the only ones on the case. But we try as hard as we can as I like him as a player." Arsenal signed Theo Walcott from Southampton in January 2006 and did not want to loan him back. Wenger is reluctant to loan Oxlade-Chamberlain back but has decided to do it if it means getting his man. Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to help Southampton in their promotion push. They have agreed a deal worth £5m up front with further instalments [sic] rising to £10m based on appearances and success.
