The Warriors really need to notch a win against a good team IMO. Not saying it'll happen tonight though lol but lately we've been barely scraping by crappy teams at home. In any event, we're getting it done against the teams we have to beat, but if we're going to really make a run at being .500 and/or the playoffs we'll have to steal a few against GOOD teams. I can't remember any wins we have over good teams, perhaps you could argue the NO comeback but they're really not that good and were playing poorly at the time. Gotta get a few of these ones over the course of the season. Especially playing in the west.

Its going to be ugly. Just a bad matchup. Fundamentals vs. disciplined challenged team.

C'mon, P.S., you gotta have a little hope here. I mean, you're right though. It's not a pretty match-up. But right now the score is tied, albeit at 0-0. So as long as we can keep up this pace until the 4th, we'll have a chance to win!

You're right. They've played the Spurs tough at home in the past. Somehow I just see someone like Hill or George Neal lighting up the Warriors because they plays such poor defense. Maybe, the W's take a moment to watch how the Spurs can be an elite defensive team with Matt Bonner, Hill and Neal on the floor and vow to make the same commitment to D.

Looks like Ellis is getting some recognition. He just took two steps with the ball in hand before dribbling the ball up court. Did anyone see that?

We are seeing how Lee became an All-Star (albeit when the East was little light in power guys); he's got a reliable jumper and he's decent in the post with both the left and right hand. Plus he hustles to get the awkward rebound (the one that comes off funny off the rim, that's pure hustle).

My man, Curry is just too sloppy with the ball at times. I watched him in his final college game and I think back he could get away with that in college but not in the lane in the NBA. Somehow, either communication is not good or the desire is not there, but our guards are the worst in the league in fighting through screens. Someone needs to call it out earlier and the player has to slide either high or low but Curry and Ellis just run square in to the screener just eliminating themselves from the play or they trail so badly they are out of the play. The Spurs are such good passers, they tore up the screen and roll.

I also see Curry as not being aggressive enough off in the lane. He's got the edge, he needs to finish and get some fouls. Instead its almost like he just wants to wander in there but not really looking to shoot and the defense is not respecting his drive. He's still got the sweetest jumper on the team.

What was with the zone? That was pathetic, they guarded no one.
