<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kirby posted this info in another thread but I thought it merited its own thread since this is huge news if true. Here's what Kirby posted and if he or anyone else who heard the interview can provide additional commentary that would be greatly appreciated: "Woefel was again on WSSP this morning and stated that the Bucks pretty much have a deal wrapped up for Magloire but are still fielding several offers. Woefel says that the deal would more than likely happen ON draft night as most teams would prefer to use the publicity surrounding the draft to announce personnel changes. He mentioned again Mags/Mo for Villa/Pete. He reiterated his opinion that the Bucks are very interested in Rodney Carney if they move into the top 14-16 range. He stated that if the Bucks traded for #1 (he doesn't think it will happen) that they will use the #1 pick to draft UConn's Rudy Gay." My thoughts: What I find most interesting is that Woefel talks about the Bucks trading into the first round as something separate from the Magloire/Mo to Toronto deal. It's been speculated Mo would be the one dealt for the mid first-round pick. But if Mo's going to Toronto in the Villanueva/Mo Pete deal, who is Harris dangling to trade into the first round? The logical answer is Joe Smith but who would want Smith that has a mid first? And what would they be offering back in addition to the pick to make salaries match?</div> I think it's very foolish for the Raptors to trade Villanueva, I honestly don't know how to take this.
Williams Magloire for Mo Pete CV would be a steal for Milwaukee. They get more depth on the wings and a more than solid young player, in return for a player that they didn't want anyways and a good pg.
I agree, this would give them a great young frontcourt to build upon. I'm not sure about this for the Rators, but they are in desperate need for a center. I could definitely see this going down.

The Bucks would clean house in this trade, getting 2 of the top 3 players from last years draft. This would be sick for the Bucks...Ford/BellRedd/Welsh(if resigned)Simmons/Kukoc(if not retired)Villy/SmithBogut/GadzThats off the top of my head so might not be very accurate. Also throw in their 2nd rounder and a FA or 2 and they are golden.

Regarding the post I am quoting, you are forgetting about my man Irsan. People may forget him now, but will remember him soon.

Ford really showed a lot later in the season and can really run a team, I like Maurice Williams but he isn't the 'true' PG that Ford is and thats why teams covit T.J. Ford more.
