LaMarcus Aldridge MRI is negative for tear or cartilage damage. He does have a hip contusion and is listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. Boston.

I was nervous to open this thread.

These days I expect the worst when it comes to MRI results.

Me too. Almost had butterflies, believe it or not. You know you're a Blazer fan when you feel like celebrating that a player "only" has a contusion.

Didn't Bo Jackson's hip injury start off as just a contusion?

    Just kidding.

I doubt he plays. No reason to throw him out there as our only true option and get beat up by the Celtics! Have him sit and by the times the Spurs come to town he will have had 8 days off.

So the starting 4/5's in this game could be Cunningham and Chris Johnson/Sean Marks?

    /facepalm

The Celtics lost to Washington, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit and some other bad teams, if memory serves. It is all a cunning plan to have them lose to the Wes Mathews and role players team.

I see Cho always looking down at his blackberry but nothing, not even rumors that have legs, has happened. This roster is in dire need of change.

I have a sneaking suspicion he's playing tetris on his phone.

    Come on CHO!

Change how? Just curious. you always hear this, but what do you want? The only thing of value we have are our vets..... Joel/Dre/Camby......... you trade those guys for young players we don't make the playoffs. We keep 'em, at best we sneak in with the 8th seed. We are in a real tough spot right now, and I can understand the fans not wanting to be in said spot, but realistically what can we do?

I'd rather trade those guys for something we can use past this season or next season. If we don't make the playoffs, so what? We're just going to be the sacrificial lamb for the #1 seed. At least this way we get a shot at the lottery and hopefully people are healthy next season.
