...and now it begins! Trialists include 2010 D2 standouts; Pore excited for camp PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers inaugural season in MLS passed another important milestone on Monday when the first practice was held. The team will train together daily at the Adidas facility this week. For Ryan Pore, who played for the second-division Timbers last year and was one of the MLS franchise’s first signings, the day was greeted with excitement. “There’s been a lot of anticipation for this day. To have it finally here is exciting,” said Pore, who stayed in Portland over the past few months and soaked up every new announcement. “It’s kind of a dream come true.” http://www.portlandmls2011.com/news/2011/01/timbers-pass-milestone-hold-first-ever-practice
