He's on his 2nd season of a 16+ PER, and this year, he's doing that with a 17 usg rate. Defensively though, I just don't see it. PER and Usg last two seasons Ridnour 17.7 (22.8), 16.2 (17.1) Harris 16.2 (25.5), 18.7 (25.8) I think Harris is extremely overrated, and not at all worth his contract. I'd rather have Rid for three years, considering his contract.
Why would Minny want to get rid of Rid should be the question. He has a PER of 16.2 with a 17.1 usage rate. Jonny Flynn has a PER of 4 with an 18+ usage rate. Holy crap that's bad.
Rid fits the triangle offense like a glove. Jonny Flynn?..... not so much. I'd still like to take a chance on Flynn. I think he would do well in our system.
