It is being reported by some sites (I won't link--seem to be full of ads) that former MMA fighter James Toney is returning to boxing. On February 24th he is scheduled to face journeyman Damon Reed in Topeka, Kansas, at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino as part of Empire Sports & Entertainment's Fight Night in America series. Toney (72-6-3, 44 KOs) is the current reigning IBA Heavyweight Champion of the World. Toney, 43, fought last in 2009, knocking out Matthew Greer in the second round of a non-title bout. Reed (35-14, 32 KOs) is coming off a loss to Hasim Rahman in 2010 and is not a top-250 ranked heavyweight.

One of the early TUF series had an amateur boxer. He boasted about not having been knocked out in about 88 fights (or something like that). He was very successful in boxing.

88 amateur fights? Who was this?

The only person I can think of off the top of my head is Chris Lytle. I don't recall there being a boxer on the first couple seasons but I could be wrong.
