Cut his toe pretty badly climbing into a hot tub. X-rays taken this morning were negative. He had a smokin' hot babe with him at the hospital. Just so you know.
Um not to be a dick but the suns backup pg is the least of our issues considering we are about to be blown up.
If he misses more than just a couple of games, it makes it less likely the Suns reach the playoffs. If PHX is resigned to that fact, it makes them more likely to blow things up. If they do, whether we get blown up or not, it not only increases our chances of making the playoffs this year, and it makes some Suns players available that wouldn't normally be available from a playoff team. Plus, I wanted to get this into print before the story reached the media. It'll be interesting to see how honest they are when they announce his injury...
bro..... forget the playoffs at this point. 1. Cho is blowing it up. 2. Our next 2 we have spurs and denver possibly without batum. 3. Grizz after tonight will be 500. With Cavs, twolves wizards up coming. 4. Houston is playing well. 5. Suns are the least of my concern 3 games under 500. We arent making the playoffs.
Man, I haven't run across anybody with your selective reading abilities before, MIXUM. Did you used to work for Pravda, by any chance? At no point in Quick's article does Cho say, or Quick infer, that the plan is to blow up the Blazers' current roster. He says he's keeping the current core of Aldridge, Matthews and Batum. He's not going to trade for a starting quality PG because he would have to give up one of those guys. Cho's looking to make a trade that will be a part of a long term plan to upgrade the team. It's likely to be an incremental upgrade. He's not looking for a short term deal at the expense of the team's long term success (think Carmelo). My best guess is that Joel and maybe one of the backups gets dealt for a PF or better backup PG that fits with the plan to move the team along gradually. Such a move isn't likely to have any negative impact on the Blazers' chances of making the playoffs. Camby's due back soon and Roy will likely rejoin the team after the All Star break. The Blazers have an excellent chance of not only making the playoffs, but moving up to the 7th or maybe 6th seed.
Forget the playoffs? I think not. 1. Cho may make a relatively big move, but it'll hardly qualify as "blowing it up." 2. I think we steal one of those two games, with or without Batum (probably with). Even if we don't, we have Indy, Cleveland, Chicago, Toronto, Detroit, and Minny before our next really tough game agains the Hornets. We should win at least four of those six games, and I think we may have a shot at winning all six, especially if we get Camby back in time for the Toronto game on the 11th. 3. Grizz aren't catching us, whether they win tonight or not. Neither are the Twolves. Cavs? Wizards? Seriously? 4. It won't last, but I'm more worried about the Rockets than I am the Grizzlies. 5. Up until I found out about Dragic, I was more worried about the Suns than I was the Rockets. We are absolutely making the playoffs. You keep throwing in the towel with such vigor, you're going to ruin your shoulder.
The Grizz could move Randolph before the deadline. He's UFA after this season, and they can't afford to resign him. Plus Mayo's out for 9 more games on suspension. Mayo may not be great, but he's better than Sam Young, Tony Allen, or Xavier Henry
It's time to groom Dragic for the starting position next year (meaning trade Steve Nash to the Blazers for salary relief ). Dragic getting hurts delays the plans on getting Nash here . . .
