Work Observations

I've got an observation.... I learned to keep my big mouth shut. Not talk about politics. Not talk about personal beliefs. Don't gossip in the work place. Just keep my head down, a smile on my face, and just another one of the faces in the crowd. My inability to keep my mouth shut has gotten me in trouble time and time again. I never seem to learn my lesson.

Yup. A few people were shocked like years into my job when they learned I was republican.

There are certain people who no matter how practical or how much you can save them from fucking up, they will NEVER listen to you. Its best to let them crash and burn on their own rather than get too involved.

 

I actually imparted that wisdom on my fiancee... she found out one of her coworkers blew a guy in the closet at her work. She wanted to tell her boss but I told her to stay out of it. That kind of shit will get found out sooner or later, and you don't want to be the one getting involved.

 

Yeah, tell her not to blow their cover.
