I think this is the best sig i've made so far. The one I made before this is the Shaq sig that I showed in this forum.[IMG]I'm pretty proud of myself. I need to get photoshop though.

I think this sig is probably the best you've made and using another program other than PS is quite tough. (at least it is for me)You need to blend the player and the line tool should be behind the player.

You need to blend the players more. Duplicate the layer and play around with blending options. Make the size of your sigs a bit smaller, cause I can see alot of empty spaces. Work on your text a bit more too. Download fonts at dafont.com and play around with blending options.Keep trying man, you'll improve

I'm sure there are ways to get Photoshop without buying it. I think you can download it off limewire.

Hey, I can make it look like an old photo! lol.... Anyone use or have used GIMP before?</div>I use GIMP. Here's some advice on blending: (NOTE: This is using the paths tool. If you don't know how to use it, then this whole post is for naught I guess. lol)1) Use the paths tool to make the cut of your player. Make sure it's a close to the shape of the player as possible. If you mess up, don't worry, you can always edit the path when you're done designing it.2) Go to Select>From Path. This will create a selection from your path in the shape of your player. You should see marching ants. 3) Go to Select>Invert.4) Go to Edit>Clear. 5) Go to Select>Invert.6) Go to Select>Border. Type in 2 or 3 pixels, depending on how big the pic of the player is.7) Go to Select>Feather. Type in 2 or 3.8) Go to Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Set each of the settings to 2.9) And bam! If you did this tut right, your pick should look smooth & blended into whatever background you have made. I find GIMP to be just as good as, if not better than, PS. It's all about knowing how to use it though. Sure it doesn't have as many options as PS (like the blending options), but there are ways to work around that and still come out with a finished product that looks exactly the same. Plus, having to figure out ways to do certain things puts a lot more fun into GFX design. Makes you feel like you're better as a GFX designer.
