http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=1336 Wow, Ty Thomas is really an @$$hole. God damn. But other than his punk-ass attitude, it's a pretty good read. It has interviews with Thomas, Aldridge, Roy, Foye, Redick, and Shelden Williams.
I posted this at OTR a few days ago, Thomas came off as a punk. "Where do you think you will go in the draft?" "I don't know, wherever you think I will go" Just a real smartass for no reason.
yeah, thomas was being an ass. maybe he had beef w/ the guy or it was really early or something. hahaha
I'm surprised that it said Shelden actually had a jumpshot. Maybe Boston is actually considering him now.
Hey BCB remember when you were telling me Gay and Thomas were good kids with no issues. Those two have received bad remarks on their demeanor and attitudes so far. Maybe their good kids, but I knew Thomas would be a issue with his ego.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Also, Brandon Roy was a likeable guy. Really down to earth, really humble, yet confident that he is the best player in the draft. LaMarcus Aldridge was an okay guy, really nice, and Patrick O'Bryant, who turns 20 in 10 days, seemed like a shy little kid (even though he is 7-feet). Some of the other players I talked to - Tyrus Thomas and Rudy Gay among them - I'm going to withhold comment except to say that I didn't find myself gravitating toward them. Neither seems like a good fit for this team - personality wise.</div> http://www.oregonlive.com/weblogs/blazerso..._06.html#150039 Read that from realgm Blazers forum, doesn't make Gay look good in retrospect when he's grouped with Thomas. Also, can't fit on the Blazers personality wise makes me question if about to be drafted has gone to his head.
Nice find Celts. Interview with Aldridge was interesting. Good to hear that he's a well-mannered guy and has a good relationship with Bosh. He said he'd be able to play a combination of 4 and 5 in the NBA... IMO, I want him on the Raps. If he can develop some strength and offensive post-up moves, I think he'd be a great addition. Along with CB4 and CV, that would be a solid frontcourt. And yea, Tyrus was pretty rude.
I know Thomas has just been a total dick during these workouts. Someone needs to bring him down to earth and make him realize he isn't God. I hope he falls badly in the draft. I'm really liking Brandon Roy more and more. He's got a great attitude and seems so humble and down to earth. Im really rooting for him to do well in the NBA.
