Look at all the top teams in east and west!

    All have elite pg's.

Im wondering if that should be our focus going forward. Its becoming clear that unless you have an elite PG... chances are not good that you can compete. Of course the heat and lakers are the exception but they have 2-3 top players in league. My point here is that it may be time to move a guy like Batum to get a solid PG like Harris. You can find SF's who are streaky and fragile.... you cant find PGs these days.

I wouldn't say the Heat,Magic, Lakers or Mavs have elite PG's. Good PG's yeah, but IMO PG is the position with the least drop off from the best to the next tier and on down. It's and extremely deep position and having an elite player at other positions is more important so long as you have a good to very good PG.

The handcheck rule has allowed any PG who can penetrate to succeed more and more.

    1. When was it any different?

    2. Devin Harris will never approach "eliteness".
