Best team in the NBA had no answer for Aldridge

There was once a time where the little forwards like Blair or Jeff Green could take Aldridge out of his game. Now he just feasts on them. I love it.

I figured it out. He's talking about a confusing OT thread called "What's the Internet." I'll respond to him there.

Good point about Aldridge and how many minutes he is logging.

Give LA 4 days to rest and he is ready to bang, dominate and carry the team. I don't know if he can do this night in and night out as a big man. He takes a beating down there.

Joel looks to be playing at about 70% healthwise, and is of course not in playoff shape yet. He appears to still be fighting the mental aspect of subconsciously guarding against injury rather than going all out.

We've seen enough of Joel's drive in the past that I am certain he will again be a beast come playoff time. Considering what little we'd get for him, The Choad would be a fool to trade him.

So this means Mixum won't post for a month, right? The Blazers won't be at .500 by Friday night...

    Batum and Joel were dreadful.

Rudy was very good on everything but scoring. Played a good defensive game.

nope... bet was NEVER official. I said a week and you said a month. We never agreed. Should have taken the week. You pushed for more and now you lose.

The Spurs switched every pick on Aldridge. Hill was guarding Aldridge for a lot of the second half. Yes, George Hill, 6'3 PG.

The Spurs played ridiculously stupid defense on LMA.

sam smith on blazers vs bulls..... and la to la

Feb. 7, Portland. This has long been one of the Bulls toughest places to play as Rose never has won there and has lost by 42 and 24 the two times he’s played there. Overall, the Bulls have lost nine of their last 11 in the Rose Garden. Hey, it should be his garden. But the Trailblazers have been decimated by injuries with Brandon Roy and Greg Oden likely out all season and Marcus Camby the latest big man hurt. They play hard and compete and are hanging onto eighth in the Western Conference after an impressive win Tuesday over the Spurs at home, where they are 17-7. They run everything through LaMarcus Aldridge now as he’s had an All Star season and, at least to me, is more deserving of an All Star selection than Kevin Love and Zach Randolph. Too bad the votes were in before Aldridge had 40 against the Spurs Tuesday. They don’t have many scoring options with Wesley Matthews perhaps their only other consistent one, but they hit the offensive boards and lead the league in that category.

This is a time the Bulls should have a chance to make up for some past indignities.

All cylinders? At this point, I'd be happy if they were clicking on 5 of them.

Actually the Spurs did try to play the pick and roll straight up, but LMA was killing them from 20 feet when he popped, and he slipped the pick several times to snag lobs at the rim. Bottom line, LMA and Miller carved them up -- good defense loses to great offense.

Joel said the other day that other players have told him it takes about 18 months to fully recover from the injury. It hasn't even been 12 yet.

I don't think Joel will ever quite be the same player again(injury + age factor), but I think he'll continue to get better little by little. A nice off-season of training could do wonders for him.

I am not sure all cylinders are there to fire in the first place. Some of the cylinders seem to have gunked up fuel injectors, and some seem to have a bad plug that is intermittent. An oil change might help too. :NOTMARIS:

Man whats with all this bad karma cylinder stuff. :D

There will be a time when Miller, LA, Batum, Camby and Matthews starting and Roy coming off the bench. Powerful top 6 that is slowly be fined tuned in the garage and will be on display when the final playoff push starts.

Just 2 games out of 6th spot.

I'm nuetral on Rice (probably defend him in a bar because he is a Blazer afterall), but I could see why other fans don't like or respect him much.

I tend to not have any problems with our starting 5. We do need to find some bench scoring. If it can be Roy, great. But I am not so sure how Roy fits in with the second unit right now.
