Hey, amazingly enough Steve Blake doesn't play any better on the Lakers (From Hoopsworld). What a surprise that opposing guards hit 3 pointers on him too. That never happened here..... :NOTMARIS:

Oddly enough, point guards Derek Fisher, Steve Blake and Shannon Brown are all hitting around 39% from 3-point range, which is better than their career averages. The bigger issue (and this doesn't apply to Brown) is 2-point accuracy. Blake is skirting by with a 37% clip within the arc while Fisher has made only 27% of his 2-point attempts.

The other major issue is that opposing point guards are hitting two 3-pointers a game (38.4% conversion rate), which ranks 28th in the entire NBA.

I wonder if the Lakers would consider giving us Odom for Andre Miller. I mean, it'd be great for us- Odom plays the 4, Aldridge the 5. I'll even throw in Rudy!

Odom is a little bitch. The Blazers could do better with draft picks.

I still think if Blanky were back here, Nate would be starting him

You're probably right. I'm sure we'd have no place on our team for a guy who is 6'10," rebounds well, passes and dribbles like a guard, and is having a season nearly as productive as LMA.

Yep we have no need for a player like that, when we have Dante Cunningham. Dante is all you need. :NOTMARIS:

If Andre Miller can't play with Brandon Roy, then there is no way he can play with Kobe Bryant.

Maybe I should have rephrased: Odom is a Laker and I'd rather burn my Blazer jerseys than root for a Laker, ex- or otherwise.

Jerome Kersey gets a pass, but only barely.

He can play with Roy...he was playing well with him down the stretch of last season. Roy didn't want to play with Miller...that's quite a bit different from being unable to play with him.

We wish he'd start over Fisher. I want to see him get some serious burn with Kobe out there. He can't be any worse than Fish.

Odd conclusion. It seems to prove the opposite.

Lakers PG's shoot 3's better (39%) than opposing PG's (38.4%) and this is a bad thing?

Unmentioned was Lakers PG's make more 3's per game (3.1) than opposing PG's (2.0). Steve Blake makes 1.1 of those in his 20 minutes shooting 39.3 from the arc.

Fisher hasn't looked like a starter for a couple years now.

Must have some dirt on PJ.

Blake hasn't been with the Blazers for almost a year and still gets bashed on this forum. Didn't put Blake in the Zbo or Sheed category, but I think he is approaching that.

I literally stared at him with my mouth wide open. Shocked to the point that I was unable to speak.

My amazing Laker game date, @jamisentfries and I just got yelled at by the grumpy old man in front of us. He said we talk too much.

A few games back I had a couple of girls behind me do the same thing - if you want to chat non-stop for two hours, do it in the concourse.
