    vs the Spurs on 2/1/11.
How do you feel about this guy? You think Nate will throw him in a few more times before his 10 day contract is up? It is possible that he will do a second 10 day contract. I saw this guy make his free throws but missed his rebounds. How does he look?

Certainly better than Marks. At least Johnson is active. Could probably be better than Przybilla at this point..

I missed his run, but after watching Joel labor the way he did and knowing how awful Marks is, could he be a worse option than those two? Maybe, maybe not.

He's so skinny, and got pushed around like a ragdoll vs. Blair on a couple possessions, but he's still better than Marks.

I would like to see more footage of him playing. I hope he gets put in more soon.

HCP, can you do an interview on this guy!?

He looked nervous and lost tonight, but active. On that dunk attempt he got nervous and just couldn't decide what to do with the ball and blew it, but it's probably just jitters and I say give him the season to settle down and learn the system. He has the athletic tools, and hey, his form looked decent on his FTs. Either him, or more ideally, go after Anthony Randolph.

Guy plays hard on both sides of the court. He weighs less then what I left in the toilet but i'll take him over marks.

    His pre-draft measurements are shocking:

    7'0"
    192 lbs.

As long as he shows hustle and bustle then he might be kept, before that deadline and A.Johnson gets the boot. With only Joel and Camby coming back by playoff time, I hope this kid gets kept. Marks just looks so slow out there with this feet from what I have seen.
And remember when Miller went sick, Rudy took care of the PG position for awhile along with Mills. If Nate has decided to throw C.Johnson that quick against the Spurs he might have seen this as a test and it got decent results. Theres something about A. Johnson that Nate is holding a grudge against.

He looked taller than 7-0. He towered above Aldridge. The pre-draft guy measuring him probably felt sorry for him and faked his numbers to 7-0, 192 to make him seem shorter and fatter.

    Hey we're undefeated since he's played in a game so he's a keeper! :)

I'd like to see him get some more playing time. He's active and athletic, challenges shots well...

I thought he did fine out there in his short stint, and he was going against a team with a guy built to go against guys like him, Blair. You know the dude will fill out as he gets older too. Remember when Jermaine Oneal came in? He was listed at 6'11" 205, and I think 205 was generous. If I remember right, he filled out ok about 2 years later. Chris Johnson's body type reminds me of a young Tyson Chandler and is kind of like Javale McGee.

I'd like to see more of him. We just need our "world class" trainers to get him bulked up.

That isn't true I have met many people who didn't start filling out until their late 20's. It all depends on what you are eating, and when you started drinking beer!

Well that settles it then. If he gets his second ten-day, then it's nothing but bratwurst and beer for this Johnson guy.
