In my opinion, they're pretty similar. Bosh excels at mid-range shooting, while Gasol is better at finding teammates. Similar height/weight and position. I'd have to say Bosh for this one because he is about 3/4 years younger than Gasol. He's also more versatile meaning he can shoot the J and drive to the hoop. If a defender decides to play on him, he uses his quickness and speed to drive to the hoop, and if a defender plays off him, he can easily shoot over him. Gasol has some pretty post moves and uses more physical strength than Bosh. Gasol's got good passing skills for a big man so he can zip passes to teammates. GASOL 2005-2006 PPG 20.4 RPG 8.9 APG 4.6 SPG .58 BPG 1.91 FG% .503 FT% .689 3P% .250 MPG 39.2 BOSH 2005-2006PPG 22.5 RPG 9.2 APG 2.6 SPG .71 BPG 1.13 FG% .505 FT% .816 3P% .000 MPG 39.3 Your thoughts?

i like pau gasol. he has a huge advantage in his ball handling. he can drive past defenders like a point guard. however bosh is more athletic. i wish they televised more raptors games. i never get to see him play. only at the all-star game.i think i would take pau though. he maybe lacking in his rebounds. but he almost averages 5 assists per game. that's finding teammates on the break, on the perimeter, wherever. add the extra points from that and he suddenly averages 30 ppg. bosh would only be 28 ppg.

Bosh also has an advantage in FT's, which makes him more dependable in crunch time.

Pau is better right now, but Bosh will be better in a year or two. The biggest advantage I think Pau has is his passing ability. He can dish out of the post in double team situations better than Bosh can, granted Pau has better people to pass to.
