Evander Holyfield’s fight with 45-year-old Brian Nielsen (64-2, 43 KO’s) has been moved from March 5th to May 7th at the Koncerthuset, Copenhagen, Denmark. The fight has been moved because of a bad cut over Holyfield’s left eye that he suffered in his last fight in January against Sherman Williams. The cut needs more time to heal before Holyfield can get back in the ring and try to defend his obscure WBF heavyweight title. Holyfield last faced 38-year-old Sherman Williams on January 22nd in West Virginia and the fight ended prematurely in a 3rd round no contest after Holyfield’s left eye was cut from a headbutt.
