He found out about Love making it after he fouled out apparently.

Let's hope this fires up both Aldridge and the rest of the team and we snap out of this rut.

Show it on the court. Otherwise, it's typical Blazer clap trap.

I have a feeling he/they will. This team has rallied around a lot less before.

He does kind of have a point. I mean, Duncan made it largely on team record. Go look up his stats, they're not nearly as impressive as Love's or even Aldridge's. Then, they go and fill the roster with a stat stuffer. Seems kinda backwards, but whatever. The NBA does a lot of things that nobody understands.

Stern knows what he is doing.

A- He has a long running battle with Portland that goes way back.
B- Some of you may not agree with this, but the one thing this league needs in their eyes is an American born white star. I truly believe that. When was the last time a white guy born in the states made the all-star team? I may be wrong, but off the top of my head maybe Wally Szerbiak? And he was NO star. Love is a dream come true to Stern.

David Lee last year was an injury replacement. So was Kaman (for BRoy).

Nah, Wally is from Ohio I think. Good call on Kamen and Lee. i forgot already. My point is I believe there are some politics involved. ZBO NEVER had a chance putting up great #'s on a shitty team was always the excuse. Him being a gang member I think had more to do with it.

If this recognition is important to Aldridge, he'll have to put this team on his back for the rest of this year and for the first half of next year, assuming there isn't a strike.

It sucks, but the best way for a Blazer to make the All Star team is to make such a dominant case that you can't be denied. We're a nowhere franchise in the eyes of the NBA. No one in the league gives two shits about what happens in Portland.

There are times when I'm simply amazed that there is still an NBA team here, and not because of Paul Allen being so generous.

Lol yea Love made it because he's white....what kind of ignorant shit is that?? So if LMA was white....and Love was black...LMA would have made it?? Pull your head out of your ass....that is a load of shit. Nobody in the league cares about Portland...we know this..the only reason BRoy made it is because it was absolutely undeniable he was one of the best players in the league at his position. LMA is playing great basketball, but there are guys putting up better numbers at the same position. Kevin's numbers are more impressive than our wins apparently and I'm ok with that. Let Lamarcus get some rest. He's going to need it it with the entire team on his back.

I guess your right. The league owned and run by rich white guys doesn't want one of their own representing them on the biggest stage.

Shit I forgot the ASG was a bigger stage than the finals....or even a regular season game between the Heat/Celtics and Lakers...It also slipped my mind that Kevin being in the All-Star game is going to make the rest of the world marvel at how an American born white guy made the ASG!
