As of now, JR Smith easily. He had a tough season this year, but we saw the potential he has in his rookie season. Dorell Wright really hasn't shown much. He's really long, has great ball handling skills for his height, just an athletic freak. Another guy with a ton of potential. He had a game or two at the end of the season where he got big playing time and preformed decently well and showed off his athletic skills, but that's about it. Other times he was thrown in a game, he looks out of place, turning the ball over, and barely hitting rim on his shots. But you never know he could be a guy who just needs more playing, but he's not getting it anytime soon, playing on contending team at his age. Two still very very young guys, drafted one after the other, but right now JR has the easy edge.
Definetly JR Smith. As LghtsOut said Dorell Wright hasn't showed us much, he has all the intagibles but once on the court he hasn't used them very well. JR didn't have the best season but we've seen what he could do in the previous two years. Both of these guys have great potential but JR has shown more than Dorell Wright.
Well let's put it this way Smith has started 4 times as many games as Wright has even played.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (pistonz4life @ Jun 16 2006, 07:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>JR didn't have the best season but we've seen what he could do in the previous two years.</div>This is only his second season.
This is a unfair comparison.Like the previous poster noted, Wright has barely played any game time NBA minutes.

I have never seen Dorell get any sort of consistant minutes, and in his rookie year J.R. showed some real scoring talent, and showed some defensive skill as well. Until Dorell gets some real playing time it is really hard to make a comparison in his favor.
Why do you think Dorell hasn't gotten consistent minutes? Even before Miami got stacked, he never played. Just bc nba live overrates the sh*t out of Wright doesn't mean we should compare the players.
