You know what's funny is that ESPN's "Pick Center" only has us winning 96-93. And it says the probability that Portland will win tonight is only 57%. How does a team that's lost 23 straight have a 43% chance of beating a team with a winning record?

I guess they have to be taking emotions/pride/effort into account as the Cavs fight to not make history.

I honestly think we lose tonight. The offense is struggling and the cavs can score. This is game 7 for cavs tonight. Like I said bad situation for blazers. We won't win tonight.

More like it's Game 4, and they're down 3-0 and playing at home.

Not to say we can't lose this game, because on any given night . . . and I do expect Cleveland to come out with their best effort. But I'm not too worried about shutting down Christian Evenga and Manny Harris (starting SG & SF last night). They are actually near the bottom of the league in team scoring. Actually, they are near the bottom of the league in just about every category you can imagine. They are a bad basketball team.

The thing about tonight is...the Blazers actually have the advantage when it comes to the bench.

When the Blazers lose it's usually because of their bench or getting pounded on the boards. Those two things shouldn't be a huge problem tonight.

And besides being a random piece of NBA trivia that no one (besides Cavs or Blazers fans) would remember two weeks from now where's the shame? These guys get paid just like every other player in the NBA and with Matthews hobbled, Nic on a sore knee, Camby out and one of the shittiest benches in the league I'm not sure where the "shame" would be in losing to another NBA team.

Pop quiz: Who did the Nets beat last year to break their long losing streak? Answer: Who knows and who cares.

Better question. Do you know who held the old losing streak record, or who they beat to stop losing?

    Probably not, and who cares.

Nope, and I probably won't remember it 2 days from now even after the two Mikes talk about it during tonight's game.
