I don't. We'd have to include more. I thought the premise, though, was that there is trouble in Rocket land, the trouble is Brooks, so perhaps a parting of the ways is in order. Maybe I misread the premise of the thread? Either way, I think a Brooks for Patty + bench player or pick is closer to fair than Brooks for Batum, as someone suggested. Brooks has talent, but let's not get carried away. We need a better starting PG than Brooks, but he'd be a good upgrade to any of our bench point guards. It's worth a phone call.
Why trade for a guy who wasn't extended? If I remember right, Houston did not give him an extension. So why trade anything for him when you can pick him up out of free agency?
Yep and what do you think the chances of Houston re-signing him are now that things seem to be blowing up out there between the two? The chances of Houston wanting to match anything, are probably pretty poor.
and Sac will likely make him an offer with their capspace this summer, we have no capspace but I think have the MLE and we have more than one big need, so do you try to get him now and offer him a deal? then do his QO or match an offer he gets?
