Featherweight titlist Chris John(Above), the longest reigning active world titleholder in boxing, will make his 14th title defense April 17 against Indonesian countryman Daud Yordan(Below). The fight will take place at the 8,000-seat Jakarta International Expo and is being billed as the biggest fight in Indonesia's history. "This fight will be Indonesia's equivalent of Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Marvin Hagler or Oscar De La Hoya vs. J.C. Chavez," said Raja Sapta Oktohari, comparing the fight to those historic bouts. Oktohari's Mahkota Promotions is co-promoting the fight. The 31-year-old John (44-0-2, 22 KOs), who has held his title since 2004, is coming off a near-shutout decision against Fernando Saucedo in Jakarta in December in his first fight in his home country in nearly three years.
