That was a great deal for both teams. The Lakers got the defensive post presence they always needed and got to slide Lamar Odom down to SF and the Wizards got rid of a distraction and brought in a solid backup point guard and a wing who can give them 15 points a night.

And towards the end of the season he had an Amare esque post game.Caron and Chucky play no defense. Caron was a good scoring punch but I'm glad we got rid of Chucky. Didn't you guys waive him anyway?

And the trade wasn't bad for the Wizards, they were probably gonna release Kwame anyways because he was becoming a distraction, so basically they got something for nothing. And Kwame is one of the Lakers key pieces for the future. So everyone won.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Lakaboy42 @ Jun 17 2006, 04:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Who did Wilt get traded for again?</div>He was traded twice, first to the Sixers for Connie Dierking, Lee Shaffer, Paul Neumann and $150,000.Then to the Lakers for Jerry Chambers, Archie Clark and Darrall Imhoff.

But either way, the deal was basically Googs/Stewart/pick for Walker.
Yeah, I don't think they even called they're names introducing them before a game. They suck so bad its not even funny. Me and my mom laughed about this trade for like an hour. Walker for _______
I don't think it is the most lopsided ever, but the Rasheed Wallace deal for the Pistons was good. We ended up trading to get him and Mike James, and we gave away Lindsey Hunter, Chucky Atkins and Bobby Sura, then two weeks later picked up Hunter back off of waivers. So it basically went like this;Pistons got: Rasheed WallaceMike JamesPistons lost:Bob SuraLindsey Hunter (for a week)Chucky AtkinsI would say that was a bit lop sided, considering Sheed and Mike brought us a title.

Kwame never showed any of that post defense here in his 4 year career with the Wizards. I dont know if the Lakers are a better fit for him or what, I just never respected him as a player overall. Butler is an upgrade over Hughes now in my opinion. Hughes was ALWAYS injury-prone, he was so damn fragile and skinny. Butler is a beast and doesnt injured often. He also has a much better attitude than Kwame, and we didnt need any of that negativity in the locker room that Kwame gave us. Sorry guys, I just dont like big men who cant finish around the basket. :no1:
How about Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Walt Wesley from the Bucks to the Lakers for Elmore Smith, Brian Winters, David Meyers, and Junior Bridgeman.
I think Vince Carter for Eric Williams, Aaron Williams and a 1st. Both are gone now and didn't contribute at all to the team. Vince Carter is a freaking all star. You gotta heckle them for SOMETHING in return. Even a role player. Somebody.btw I dont count Alonzo Mourning in the trade because he never played a game for us...yeah, that brings me to another bonehead mistake by Raptors management. Why not trade him, or suspend him without pay until he reported instead of doing the wim*y move of buying out the contract. One of the bad things about Babcock was that the man had no balls at all.

And because of Kwame, Lamar could slide down to his original position, SF. So you were upgrading at two positions.
