Heres the Athleticism Test results. I was suprised to see Rudy gay ended up being ranked 26th on the list. I would've thought he would've finished ranked in the top 10. I was really suprised to see Jordan Farmar had the highest Vertical Jump on the list. I had no idea he could jump so high. Anyways heres the listhttp://www.nbadraft.net/2006campmeasurements002.asp

Marcus Williams 73rd out of 80? Jesus Christ! I knew and have heard by Celtics insiders that he isn't in great shape, but god damn. I mean come on man, JJ Redick ranked 21 ahead of him. He's going to need to seriously buckle down and work real hard.

Very impressed with Randy Foye comming in at 7.

These rankings mean nothing. A few years ago Troy Bell won the athleticism test and he's out of the league. Again, these mean nothing.

I wasn't bitching at you, just stating my opinion on these tests.

Totally agree. I am, however, suprised Marcus Williams was that far down the list. But I agree, these mean basically nothing. All these statistics are crap and SO overrated. Like all the height and weights are blown out of proportion. I love how when I see people argue and say like, "so and so is too small for this position" (say it's a 6'8'' PF).. but at the same time, they would be ok with it if they are 6'9''. LMAO 1 inch seriously has nothing to do with skills. Examples - 6'9'' Ben Wallace playing center, 6'7'' Ryan Gomes playing PF, oh and how about 5'3'' Muggsey Bogues making it at all (same with 5'5'' Earl Boykins).

Weight can be an issue at times, like when I see that Morrison is 6'8'' and only 200 lbs. That's too skinny. But for the most part all these things are nothing but overhyped, basically useless statistics.

I really hope Gerry McNamara was not trying on the bench.

This is just a pointless long post that you had no reason to post. Are you just trying to make yourslef look knowledgable(not saying your not). I mean no one here said they mean anything its just fun to see how they did. i liked seeing their vertical jumps and bench press results. its also just cool seeing where people end up being ranked.

What the hell? For one it wasn't a very long post, and two how was it a useless post?

BCB said these athleticism stats are overrated, and I agreed then explained why I think that. God damn man did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Again, all I was doing was agreeing with BCB's comment.

Stop lashing out at everything thats posted AIFan, jesus.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kingjamez @ Jun 17 2006, 08:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Saer Seane is supposed to be athletic, he came in 72nd.Ehhh...Farmar has some serious UP's.Marcus Williams is just a normal guy, hes no athletic beast whatsoever.</div> Nobody has said Marcus Williams is an atheltic beast but he's an amazing player...Saer Sene is an amazing athlete but 7'0" players are not going to rank very high when 3/5's of the prospect are run and jump swingmen and point guards. Sene had a 9'5" standing reach, thats freakish.

Yes I overlooked that 9'5 standing reach. That is just not human.
