Rockets are also playing tonight. Time to set the DVR for both games and get a little better feel for Lee.
Bulls leading 24-22 after 1st quarter. Rose with 8 points on 2-8 shooting... Paul with 8 points on 2-4 shooting...
Halftime Bulls trailing 42-53 too many turnovers...and this 3 straight 3-pointers from Hornets lead to this...
Somebody turn off the trueblue gamecast? Really nice win tonight. Some strangely soft rims in NO, but bulls overcame some bad calls and took this one from the Hornets.
This just amazed me! Man, he was a big difference in the game! Omer, keep it up, and we'll be able to cash you in for Melo, straight up!
This was one of the more dominating performances from the Bulls this year. I know it was only a nine point victory and the Bulls were down at half time, but with the exception of the Hornets run in the second when they were hitting threes, the Bulls were in control throughout. It bears repeating: Derrick Rose is good at the game of basketball. He took Chris Paul out of the game like he previously did Williams. I don't think there is any argument anymore as to who is the best point guard in the league. If we're nitpicking, Thibodeau kept Rose on the bench in the fourth quarter too long again. You see Thibodeau fighting with this. CJ Watson made a bad turnover and Thibodeau sent Rose to the scorers table to check in only two minutes after Rose had sat down. CJ Watson then made a couple of good plays and Thibodeau changed his mind. Then the Bulls started making a run and Watson was playing fine so Thibodeau left Rose on the bench . . . all the way up until like the last four minutes of the game where Watson made three turnovers in a row. This is a lesson we hoped Thibodeau had learned after the Knicks game, and he had been better at this of late: regardless of how well players are performing, you bring Derrick Rose back at about the six minute mark in the fourth quarter.
