Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) ugly ass poster, but expected from ufc. assuming fitch gets passed bj and condit knocks out lytle.. fitch and condit for the #1 contender?
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) If Fitch/Alves and Fitch/Penn don't make Fitch a contender, I don't know what will. The fans and the UFC have no interest in putting him up for the title again. I don't think we'll see a GSP/Fitch 2. GSP beat him so thoroughly in 2007/08 or w/e it was and neither fighter has really changed much. Guys like Ellenberger, Story, Condit, etc. are the next-gen contenders. Fitch, Hardy, Alves, Koscheck and the like are basically going to serve as gatekeepers so long as GSP is the champ, IMHO.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) Yeah I hear you but what if Fitch keeps on winning? Beating up guys such as Ellenberger, Story, Condit, Hathaway, etc. Dare I say that Fitch would be the WW Champion if GSP moved up a weight class.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) The only fight I'm excited about on this card is Condit/Lytle.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) only 3 fights for the PPV card seems kinda light..are there unannounced fights or is this card finalized? Edit: Hmmm looking at the Superbowl card it seems 3 is the norm.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) Mark Hunt = cut after this event 100% guaranteed. He can't stop the takedowns and he's facing a sloppy wrestler who has no gas tank but he'll still lose.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) It was never the UFC's choice to sign him. They had to honour his Pride contract. I don't know if that was just the McCorkle fight and they've brought him back for this card because of the location or if he still has more fights they need to get him. In any case his MMA record is abysmal (six straight losses, five by submission and one by 18-second knockout).

Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) WHAT !? He was the only reason I was gonna go out and watch this.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) Could this be one of those cards that looks like shit on paper but winds up being extremely entertaining? UFC 126 was stacked but in some ways failed to deliver.
Re: UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch (Feb. 26th) Odds are out... Jon Fitch is a 2.5-to-1 favourite over BJ Penn Michael Bisping and George Sotiropoulos are 5-to-1 favourites to win their fights vs. Jorge Rivera and Dennis Siver Kyle Noke is a 2-to-1 favourite to beat Chris Camozzi
