3 things need to happen and 2 are in Chos hand.

    1. Roy returns to at least 80%

    2. We upgrade at backup PG via trade. I like Mills shot but thats all he offers. Cant defend to save his life, cant rebound, passing is suspect and is a turnover machine. when he comes in the lead vanishes or the lead grows on the other side.

    3. Trade Pryz. Let the man save face in Portland. He will always be one of those beloved players BUT its over. Sadly its over. If the BLazers can get Anthony Randolph or Birdman for Pryz... Cho should grab it before more video of pryz is out there. Thank god hes an expiring contract. IF the Blazers can upgrade at those 2 spots and roy plays well.... well IF they do get in.... they could have a real shot at advancing but any good defensive teams will destroy mills and it will cost us.

Also it would be nice if Batum woke up as well.

Mix: I happen to agree 110% with your analysis with one exception: Roy has to be at 95% by playoff time. An 80% Roy will simply slow the team down. This is what was happening at the start of the season.

I too like Mills, but we need something more in the playoffs.

Batum MUST wake up - or package him along with Pryz and go after something good in return.

Batum is LMA of 3 years ago. Fantastic athletic ability, size, mobility and more than decent defense, but inconsistent on offense and too timid. It would be a huge, huge mistake to let go of this kid for anything other that a slam-dunk. Iggy probably counts, maybe Granger as well, Devin Harris with his injury issues is probably not worth it.

You are the one that was all about Webster over Batum...

Yeah, it does, I agree, so again, this year, you are going to be way off in your predictions...

Anyway, aren't you supposed to be on your summer vacation, as the season is over already?

Roy comes back at 80% and plays back up PG . . . problem solved.

If there is one person I'm concerned about with ROy's return, it is Rudy.

I think Mills gets cut out of the rotation and Rudy still gets a chunk of minutes (smaller chunk). But who plays back up PG? Combo Wes/Roy/Rudy?

I don't see any of those players as a slam dunk. Both are 17-18 PER players, and both are on big contracts. Iggy might be worth the risk maybe, but Granger is a 28-29 usage player to get his 17-18 PER production. He may be the most overrated player I can think of these days.
