I was thinking the same thing. As a person with no reason to be on Twitter, since I'm not that interesting, nor should my friends, family, or business contacts, what the hell does all of the @...@...@...phrase...@...mean?

Is it like being an internet stalker?

    Twitter is a blast.

Try it out . . . like anything else, takes a little getting used to, but there is a reason so many people do it.

LA just joined this month. Very funny and religious guy.

What if I don't care about his every thought? I recognize the direct communication of it all, and I think it's an easy way to control your public message, if you're smart enough to do it, but I still don't get it. I actually find it a bit disturbing that politicians now use Twitter to make their public statements. There is very little accountability in that medium, at least in terms of being challenged by your thoughts.

If you aren't interested, than I don't think you would like twitter. I was only saying that I think it's a cool site and worth checking out. (So you read through a bunch of poster thoughts about a player but you aren't interested in that player's thoughts?)

In terms of getting it . . . it is just another way of communicating. It is fast and short, which seems to fit today's society. I like it because I don't really have the time to write or read blogs and it is an another way to keep up with people.

It's part of all this social media stuff that seems to be a big craze . . .

I'm not dogging it, Kiss_My_Darius. I'm just not getting it. Nobody in my extended social/business circle is Tweeting, so far as I know. If I wanted to be a recipient of news from celebrities, it seems like it would a good platform. Am I that far off on it? What value are you getting from Twitter other that isn't one-sided? I really would like to know, as a business owner.

There are a lot of business people doing it. You like someone's tweet, one click and you are at their website or facebook page (another hot social media for businesses). I have several tweet lists that inculdes tech talk, sports talk and other interests. Just added good works wine club to my list as an example. Looks like a lot of updates on wines, prices and links to articles. I follow people like my collegues/competitors, Blazers, PA (who just posted pictures of his trip to antartica), various people of interest (took Blake's wife off the list as she tweets way too much)

Funny, I joined for business purposes but am actually having more fun with the silly part of it and seem to always digress to the purely social part of it. For me it's like reading 1-4 line blogs of people I'm interested in. Again, I and many othere did it originally for business reasons.

Thanks for the input! I do appreciate it, and it shows me some value for Twitter regarding my business.

According to a Wolves blogger 2 of Love's rebounds shouldn't have counted. That would put him at 9 rebounds for the game and end his 10/10 streak.

The streak has probably gone a lot longer anyways then it should have because I don't really trust the stat keepers for the Wolves. As far as I'm concerned his streak is meaningless at this point.

    A. Because he's erratic Martell Webster
    B. Because he started the season injured and has missed the last 5 games with back spasms
    C. Because they usually have the far superior Michael Beasley
    D. Because they spent the #4 pick on a SF
✓ E. All of the above

The guy's entire season shouldn't count. He's the lead player on a terrible team. Has there ever been an All-Star player from a 13-42 team prior to this "white guy we need" pick by David Stern?

The fact that his biggest booster is nowhere to be found tonight should be enough validation for the farce that Kevin Love is in the eyes of the NBA.

As soon as they showed that replay with the ball going in reverse, I gave thanks to my HCP Buddha statue.
