I wasn't a big Kris Versteeg fan. I understand your hard on for him is over whelming, but he's a 30 point guy and he won't get any better. He's not a bad player by any stretch, but I like what Burke is doing. Letting young guys in the system come up and play - the way it should be. Philly is probably going to have a low pick, but I'll take it.
Kris Versteeg for a 1st and a 3rd. Meh, Versteeg is a pretty solid piece to any cup contending team, he has playoff experience.
I don't like that Versteeg is gone, but I think the trade was for the best. It seems he wanted out (by the reaction he gave in his video), and I wouldn't blame him. It is/was a bad situation, and being Coached by the worst man on the job doesn't help. In the end though, they have a 1st rounder, and are making Boston's 1st rounder less impressive as they continue to play strong to finish the season.
