Link HCP posted it on the Blazers forum but thought I'd share with those who choose not to enter that realm of one-team love. I know i've gone on and on about Montreal acquiring a basketball team, but I think i've come around to a Vancouver basketball team first. An east-west toronto-vancouver rivalry will be good for basketball in Canada as well as the NBA tackling many of the western canadian NBA fans who refuse to root for Toronto. And most of all, i'm glad David Stern is open to the idea.
On a side note: I HATE the idea of California getting another fucking NBA team. Kansas and Pittsburgh isn't bad seeing as how those are untapped markets, but i'm unsure about how strong the basketball fans are there.
“I have regrets about both Seattle and Vancouver”-David Stern. its unlike stern to make a comment like this. its almost slightly apologetic, haha. yeah anyway, it would be nice to see a team back in vancouver, but the hornets? Thats worse than Utah Jazz, seriously, vancouver hornets?! that makes zero sense! hahaha!
they'd probably change it to something like the Vancouver Titans (they have a team called the BC Titans right now)
