Second baseman Rickie Weeks and the Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to a $38.5 million, four-year contract that contains a 2015 option that could increase the value to $50 million, a person familiar with negotiations tells The Associated Press. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Wednesday because the deal had not yet been announced. The option could become guaranteed under certain conditions.
