Great play by Miller. Nate rolling his eyes shows he doesn't like easy baskets?

    Thanks Baracuda!
We should try that more often. The defense always starts heading towards the bench when they think the offense is going to call a TO in a situation like that.

Nate not throwing a hissy fit and quitting because a player ignored him shows he hasn't adjusted his coaching style?

I'd roll my eyes as well, but then again, I don't have an irrational obsession with AssClown.

While it was a rare and cool play, we also needed a TO pretty bad at that point in the game. If the hornets didn't come right back down the court and hit a three making us take the TO anyhow, it would have been a better play. But I do give credit to miller for trying to give our team a much needed spark.

Don't know if y'all notice, but 'Dre attempts this all the time. He goes past half court to call the timeout and before he calls it, he'll make a darting move towards the basket. The defender is usually still in a position to stop or slow him down, so he calls the timeout. I've seen it several times this season. He just never actually gets away with it.

I have noticed it. I think Nate probably gives him the green light to see if it is open or not.

Something tells me Nate would have blew his top had miller missed that layup. He said it was a good read cause he FINISHED it. If I remember correctly Nate wasn't too thrilled last time miller "called his own play". None the less as a fan at the game, I enjoyed it as did the others around me who got out of their seats for it.

I remember Jason kidd doing the same thing at the Rose Garden, only two seasons ago, or three at most. It was right in front of my seats. They were going to call a TO but the Blazers had already started walking back to their bench so he drove for the uncontested layup.

Ouch! Sure hurts when the tables are turned. It's a crafty PG move.

Which is why we were so surprised--it's been awhile since we've had a crafty PG.

This is pretty much why I don't want to trade Andre. I think he can be this good for another four years and I think we could use him for all four of them.

TP used to do that too (as earlier said).

yeah, clearly Miller was not blowing off Nate. He would have called the time out if he knew it was going to be contested.
