When the All Star game came to Denver, they had a traveling museum with some sideshows (2 on 2, current player/legend competition). Lots of ex-players and some cool stuff. Before he sold it, I talked with James Naismith's great-grandson and he showed me the original rule book in his great-grandfather's own hand.

I was also run over and knocked down by Charles Barkley, but that's another story.

Last time the ASG was in Los Angeles, the Staples center was really ghetto. I went to the Saturday night stuff (dunk, 3 pt etc) but after the game it looked like a freakin' zoo. People were just out of control hootin' and hollerin!

I always wanted to go to an all star game when I was a kid. Nowadays i'm not as excited about it unless there is a blazer to watch. I'll watch the rook/sophomore game because of weasley and the dunk contest because thats always fun but calling into work for the all star game just hold any appeal to me.

Got back from the rookie game. FUck that was fun. Not a lot of blazer fans..or fans in general. weird weird crowd. Mostly kids in the lower bowl T-mobile bought tix...but even then.

Went to the Jam Session. Sucked balls. Geared towards kids mainly, nothing that interesting really. Also two employees told me "hey no blazer fans allowed in here".

classy. what you get when you get volunteer laker fans to staff your shit.

I was on the suite level, so saw Bill Russell (!!!!), Dominque and Steve Kerr after the game going to his car. I told him "nice game" and he kind of shrugged it off. I should have said "should have played more Wes".

I have to say there was probably a lot of sexy dirty hooker hoochie mama shit going down in many of the luxury suites. Just got that vibe walking around there.
