You forgot to add Artest. LA would def. want to send him as well. And I had no clue Joe Smith was on the Lakers. Is he their version of Raef? Never mind, he'd have to make about 15M more to be compared to Raef.

    Honestly, I'd rather have Felton.

Not that I'm a huge Billups fan, but why do you see him as being washed up?
19 PER, 16pts, 5ast, 2rbs in 32 mins. All barely off his career numbers. He shoots 44% from three this year, a career best.

Is it on the other side of the ball that you see as his downfall?

    Go Blazers

I'd take Harris over Dre and Billups on just the age thing alone. And I love Dre.......

He's doing alright, its just that he goes long stretches of not doing anything and yeah, his defense isn't very good. I just see the wheels slowly starting to come off. I can see Lawson taking over the reigns at the starting point for them next season.

True story: I worked for Prudential Mortgage Capital in Chicago. Pru is headquartered in Newark. They offered me a promotion with the condition that I would have to relocate to HQ. I declined. They told me that HAD to move to HQ. I quit.

I was born in New Jersey. You can't tell me that Newark is like living in New York City. What a fucking shithole.

I've been to over half the arenas in the league. The Rose Garden is the best arena, no question. MSG has the most exciting environment though. I was at a game last season when the Knicks sucked but the atmosphere at the game felt like Game 7 of the Finals. So much energy in the building. NYC, IMHO, is the most exciting city in the world (that I've been to) and that exciting energy carries into the arena.

You haven't been paying attention then. The Knicks won in 1970 and 1973.

    Completely OT post:
My wife, kids, and I will be going on a 2 month self-guided American History tour of the U.S. We will be looking at graduate schools (music) for one of my sons. One of the one's we were considering is William Paterson University in NJ.

I just wanted to say that you and HCP know how to scare the &*()&*( out of a parent considering schools for their kids! After watching the video I keep thinking about the quote from Good Morning Viet Nam (a 1987 Movie!):

Cronauer: ""Jimmy Wilkes." Where you from Jimmy?"
Jimmy Wilkes: "I'm also New York."
Cronauer: "Ohh! Two boys joined together. Hey, said, "Well, I got drunk, man. All of a sudden, I went for a tatoo. The next thing you know, I'm on a bleepin' truck What happened? It's wild baby. I don't know what's goin' down." But you're both from New York. Nice to have you here. Like, you just, like hangin' out? You're headed north. Where you goin' to?"
    Convoy Soldier: "Nha Trengh."
Cronauer: "Well, you gotta be careful, Jack. That's some heavy stuff up there. That's like Newark after dark. You gotta watch out. There's some heavy bleep goin' down, baby. You'll feel like George Wallace campaigning in Harlem. "Hi, have you seen my face?" "Get your ass outta here!" You gotta watch it. What type of music do you like? You like, uh, you like Little Anthony? You like Little Anthony?"
