"Once the NFL's collective bargaining agreement expires March 3, the players could truly feel the effects of a lockout. As in, you might be locked out of the building. No workouts at the Vikings' Winter Park facility, no schematic discussions with coaches, no training table. Everything could be squeezed out, or at least that's the expectation right now unless the NFL says otherwise. "We almost have to be our own coaches," Vikings quarterback Joe Webb said. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello declined comment on the logistics of a lockout as it pertains to team access, but some Vikings players are prepared to unite in an effort to maintain quality football — even if that involves a little old-school pitch and catch in the back yard.
