I hope Wallace is speaking up and telling the Cavs and Bobcats that he doesnt want to go to shit town Cleveland. Matthews?!?! NO WAY!!! HELL NO!
Agree, I like Nic a lot but Wesley has really surprised me as a player. I can see him being a 2nd option to LMA and a 20 ppg scorer in this league for years to come.
oden is a strong bet ChrisMannixSI Sources say Portland is pushing Greg Oden in trade talks. Oden's injury history, predictably, has GM's reluctant
blazersedge RT @twithersAP: Cavs, Bobcats have had on/off talks about Gerald Wallace. Told 'Cats hesitant to deal Wallace unless they can get lots back.
Wallace would be pretty sweet in the style of play we've been playing this season, especially with Andre finding him. In the Roy ISO offense of the past? Probably not so much.
I'm sorry but people are delusional... We can only hope and dream that Batum becomes a player LIKE Gerald Wallace. He is a triple-double threat every night and the only reason he has some injury issues is he plays harder than EVERYONE else EVERY night. Yes, I'd hate to lose Nic, but Wallace is far better than Nic is. Wallace is a borderline all-star. I'm sure there were trade rumors about Martell and Travis early in their careers and people were afraid to get rid of them because of their "potential" now no one cares. Trade up when you can.
You just don't trade guys like Nic. Just no way. I really hope we don't. I'm biased because he's my favorite player on the team, but a guy with his physical skills and smarts can be a beast when developed. Don't do it, Cho!
I dunno about that one. He has his moments, but I've yet to see the guy double-teamed even once this season. I think he'd be a very good 3rd-4th scorer on a title-contending team off of the bench, though.
Nic has skills on this team that cannot be replaced. He is a combo of tremendous versatile defense (can guard 1-4), and he can shoot the hell out of the ball. And he's shown an all game that can be honed with experience.
Yea, SFs with inconsistent shooting and PER of 13.95 are tough to come by. Actually no they aren't since he's ranked #24 at SF for PER this season.
That is because you don't have to run plays for Gerald Wallace to get his. Wallace is the king of garbage buckets and getting to the line.
Gerald's first four years' PER: 13.3, 12.4, 10.6, 14.1. He bumped it up to 21.5 his fifth year. He's at 15.1 now. I'd love to land him because he can make our lineups even more versatile now, but not for Nic.
