The Raps have reportedly traded their Miami 2011 1st for Bulls forward James Johnson. Johnson was the 16th pick in the 2009 draft. He was highly regarded by the Raps scouting staff at the time. He hasn't played much for Chicago this season, appearing in only 13 games. The Wake Forest product is a defensive combo forward. His draft stock was low due to a supposed lack of athleticism. He's something of a bonehead, but he's had some really good games. If he grows up enough to be comfortable with the NBA game, he's going to be a very good player. P.S. He can also play some 2 guard.
I know it was just one game, but he looked pretty good. What I've been reading, as DC said, is that he is kinda dumb. Let's see if he can defend consistently.
Lol wat did you want for Miami's pick? Getting a former mid first rounder who Colangelo was eyeing since the draft is not bad return.
