The Bayless exception isn't big enough. We'd have to send a player or two for Flynn.

That being said, I'd do it. Flynn with the right coaching could be terrific.

The way I look at it is if he is any worse, he just wouldn't get any playing time. That isn't all that much different than what happens now, where Mills goes into the game and the lead dissappears faster than you would think possible.

Does Flynn have some incriminating photos of you or something?

This. Low risk, potentially high reward. Much more likely to learn from Andre than Mills is due to game styles. Although, Johnson is the closest to Andre.

I would love to get Flynn. I think he could do very well here and I think he's EXACTLY the kind of low risk/high reward chance that we need to be taking.

But how about some players that worked out? Blair, Curry, Westbrook, etc.

I'm more curious about posters who wanted to spend 3 relatively high picks on these PC players who've gone on to do nothing in the league rather then posters who wanted guys who were drafted well before Portland's picks (Curry, Westbrook). Blair was an obvious talent but also an injury risk with his knees... he's also abysmal on D. 20/20 hindsight is nice, but I understand/forgive the reasoning there

I wouldn't trade Sean Marks for Flynn.

Flynn is so bad the Kwame Brown jokes have finally faded away into obscurity, just like Flynn is destined to do.

I don't think we had a pick that high in the Flynn draft, did we?

I never liked Morrison. He reminded me too much of Luke Jackson. I also thought that Alexander looked like a white version of Travis Outlaw... and you know how much I liked Travis

Flynn was terrific at 'Cuse and great his rookie year. Then the hip injury happened. When he came back he hasn't been the same player. He's lost in the offense and has lost his confidence. This is the PERFECT time to trade for him. Low cost, high upside.

in 81 games, dude's PER was 13.0 his rookie year... whats great about that? He's a 6' shooting guard... I wouldn't be upset about trading an end of the bench guy for him, but then again I'm not looking to either

There's more to a player than PER. He's a rookie PG on a shit team that still managed to put up 13.5 ppg, 4.4 assists, 2.4 boards and a steal on 42% shooting, 36% from three and 83% from the line. He's super quick and has huge upside. Minny is giving him away. Word is we like him. Why not?
