I've always been a guy who gets excited about the draft and finding steals late in the first round (I was high on Rudy, Batum, and disappointed we didn't obtain Ibaka and DeJuan Blair [many of us were for him] in prior drafts). With that said though, both ours and NO's picks are going to be outside the lottery, and obtaining Wallace gives us a very realistic chance of having home-court advantage in the first-round of the playoffs. It's not unforeseeable that we could pull off an upset against a higher seed, especially if there's an injury that occurs (think Duncan or Ginobili). In any case, I would really hate to lose Matthews or Batum since I value their games so much and they have excellent contracts. However, Pryzbilla, Fernandez, Babbitt...there are definitely some pieces that I'd be willing to give up along with picks to get Wallace. Let's not forget, even though Charlotte has new ownership, Jordan isn't the richest guy in the league and the way that franchise has been run from the beginning puts an emphasis on cost control. I'm hoping this happens as it makes our team deeper and significantly more versatile.
Jason Quick on 95.5-FM: "There's been a lot of uneasy clients here.... Marcus Camby wants to know what's going on."
Someone needs to call 95.5 and expose Quick as the fraud he is. How can we trust anything this guy says anymore?
I'm just speculating here. This had so much hype now not a peep. Not to mention Wallace is at a bobcats fundraiser for season ticket holders. I just think this Harris part 2 and Houston jumps in with a steal or somebody else.
Exept for Canzano of course. He has GM's texting him while he is on the air. The dude is unbelievable.
Maybe they've cooled off so the players can focus on the game at hand and then....boom, trade goes down.
Let me finish that statement. The less chance it has of happening. I'd love to have a GM that could actually close a deal......Hopefully Cho is that guy
