Did you read the follow-up tweet? Rudy would ask for a buyout to go back to Spain. While Charlotte could refuse a buyout, I don't think they have interest in a disinterested Rudy. That Rudy is a barely sufficient bench player.
Are you kidding me? Agents talk to these GMs/Owners all the time and if MJ was asking for Rudy to be put into the deal wouldn't it make sense for him to talk to the player's agent?

Regardless, if a buyout isn't granted, Rudy is contractually bound to show up, or get fined. It's just lame, because he has no say in this, but he might be becoming the reason why Portland doesn't land Crash.
Sure. All this means is that, unless Rudy has a change of heart, he's no longer an attractive asset to Charlotte in a trade. I doubt they want a resentful and disinterested Rudy.
